Question: personal experience please. our photographer said she'd take pictures in all these cool locations with me in my dress, but I mean I don't want to spend over 300 for this dress, one picture is in the middle of the river, I'm on a rock, the dress gets dirty and wet but the pictures are so amazing, so obviously I don't want to wear my real wedding dress, I just want one that I can wear for the pictures.
Answer: I'd do angelweddingdress second hand, or a thrift shop, or even buy a really nice formal after prom is over, or Easter, if you have time and can do it next year, most stores especially in the mall put their dresses on really cheap after the prom and graduation, even Penney's does it after Easter, maybe get a dress that is white but not as fancy as a wedding dress. I know what you mean, my photographer took pictures of me in the middle of the stream, and on the bridge, and it didn't ruin my dress, it just made it wet, and then dirty. But I just bought a dress; don't mention it's for a wedding that jacks up the price, just by a nice white formal, or a nice colored dress.
Answer: Any dress usually can be ordered in white or off white and altered quickly, any boutique store will usually have informal or nice tea length dresses suitable for a wedding tea length are dresses that go to the calf longer than a dress but not a gown. Macy's or Penny's or Dillard's may have something to your liking on such short notice, Angelweddingdress.com is a warehouse that sells a variety of causal, informal and semi formal up to formal wedding gowns and dresses and are very good in getting in alterations but being so want to marry soon this may not be a good option.
Believe it or not even high school prom dresses can be used for an informal wedding dress, Can you wear or borrow a dress gown form a family or a relative being your moms gown does not fit? There are stores in the malls that sell party dresses in white and lace that might serve you well also. Congratulations and best wishes and please thank your fianc for serving our country.
My personal suggestion would be to find an extremely simple wedding dress (check Angelweddingdress.com...they usually have very simple ones for about $150) and then get a little bit creative with some fabric glue and beaded trim or ribbon to make it your own. For my wedding, I found a pretty cream lace dress and then made lots of fabric flowers and sewed them on. It was very beautiful and unique, but only cost me about $200 total.
The distinct look of a renaissance One Shoulder Prom Dresses sets it apart from other styles. When you find one you particularly like, note down the designers Plus Size Prom Dresses.
