Question: I am going to my cousins wedding and I don't' know what kind of dress to wear but I am 16. And I want it to be cute and everything but like it needs to be on the cheaper end I am thinking. It is in New England in November and I think part of it may be outside but I real want a cute dress and I would like to get it from a store where I can actually buy it...not from online
You might also need a pillow for the rings, flower baskets and petals for the flower girl(s), and ribbons, flowers, and table cloths. Also, something you can work on now so you have plenty of time would be favors. You can by supplies really cheaply online, such as from orientaltrading.com, and put them together yourself. Oh, and don't forget your bridal party's attire, you don't want to do that last minute, either.
You should go to swap-meets and so to find cheap thing but they look nice. I'm getting married in June 2010 and I've chosen my reception site and my decorator...and imp on a payment plan to have all that paid off by December... as for my photographer and video I've been talking to people and looking at their work to have them paid off by march...So from there on I will have to just worry about my dress and other little things and I will not have a large lump sum at the end to pay. Oh you might want to raise your budget a little bit if getting married in California.
I'm not saying that the bride/groom will kill you, but don't wear a white/ivory dress, and don't wear anything neon/busy-printed, super short, or attention-grabbing. I recommend you wear a knee-length dress with a jacket and leggings/tights (in New England, its cold during November). Heels or flats would be perfect.
You can check out local bridal shops, where they have prom dress and home coming dresses, or even bridesmaids dresses for sale or on clearance. One of my groomsmen's girlfriend bought a very beautiful dress for my wedding, and she spent I want to say $40? And the dress was originally $300. Look at any store that sells dressing for prom or home coming you'll hit the jack pot. But if you don't spend even that much, you could check out thrift stores, or even vintage shops, they run quite cheap and you can find some pretty wonderful things!!! I know Target also has some super cute dressy dresses for less the $40. Nothing too fancy, but simply elegant!
One of the best options if you are looking for couture Green Bridesmaid Dresses is to find a designer who can design your Black Bridesmaid Dresses from scratch.
